The Network’s governance structures are outlined in its Terms of Reference. Full editorial control over outputs lies with the HFPN secretariat on behalf of the Steering Committee. HFPN outputs are educational and non-promotional, and not subject to legal or scientific review by any sponsor. Sponsors have no right of veto. The HFPN secretariat operates independently in the public domain to deliver the core HFPN mission statement.
Each project is guided by an independent Project Advisory Group (PAG), which reads and comments in depth on drafts and project outputs to ensure all work and activities reflect a broad, multidisciplinary and evidence-based consensus. All members provide their time for free.
