The Heart Failure Policy Network has launched Heart failure and COVID-19, a report that presents an overview of what is currently known about the impact of COVID-19 on people living with heart failure as well as on heart failure care. With much of Europe in the grips of a second wave of the pandemic, the report seeks to stimulate debate and action among policymakers, clinicians and patient groups.

The report was developed based on desk research conducted in September–November 2020 and, inevitably, we expect new information on COVID-19 and heart failure to emerge in the coming months. We will be monitoring the research landscape as the situation evolves, and would welcome feedback from all stakeholders on their experiences of the impact of the pandemic on heart failure.

Find out more and download a copy of the report here.
