Postgraduate qualification for healthcare professionals

The University of Bradford offers an 18-month Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiology. The course is open to registered practitioners who are required to practise evidence-based medicine, critical problem-solving skills, team working and effective communication skills. Part of the course teaches students how to diagnose and manage people with suspected or confirmed heart failure or valvular diseases. It also covers topics including interpretation of echocardiography reports and appropriate referral to palliative care.
